Washington D.C., September 15, 2011 -- CUDL (www.cudl.com), the nation’s leading indirect and point-of-purchase auto lending solutions CUSO, and administrators of the nation’s largest auto lending network for credit unions, has been recognized by Summit International by winning 2011 Summit Creative Awards (SCA) in multiple categories.
The CUSO was presented with five awards, including: the Summit SCA Silver Award in the categories of Mobile Applications for its AutoSMART iPhone App, and in Consumer Product/Service Television for its CUDL Together television ad. CUDL was also presented with the Summit SCA Bronze Award in the Consumer Product/Service Television category for its CUDL Character television ad.
The AutoSMART iPhone app, designed specifically for credit union members, replicates features of the well-known CUDL AutoSMART vehicle research and shopping website as a fully functional app for Apple’s popular iPhone, as well as for other Apple products, including the iPad™, and iPod Touch®.
Developed specifically for credit unions and their member base, the AutoSMART website provides CUDL’s 945 partnering credit unions a flexible, versatile vehicle shopping and research site that they can brand, customize, and market to members as their own. As a result, the program provides credit unions with a key resource designed to enhance overall member satisfaction and drive member financing.
CUDL’s 2010 CUDL Together and CUDL Character TV advertisements were developed specifically for the CUSO’s credit union partners as a media tool to promote their CUDL AutoSMART programs to the communities in their local television marketplaces. More than a dozen credit unions have used the TV spots in their marketing efforts to promote their AutoSMART programs.
CUDL competed against over two thousand entries from 22 countries globally, with winners being selected in a wide-range of categories from print and broadcast advertising, to emerging media, viral marketing, and online advertising. Entries in 23 major categories were judged against a stringent set of standards, with judges looking for the most successful combination of innovative and creative concepts, strong executions and the ability to communicate and persuade.
The Summit Creative Award recognizes and celebrates the creative accomplishments of small and medium sized creative groups, advertising agencies and other organizations with annual billings under $30 million. For over seventeen years, the Summit SCA competition has established itself as the premier arbiter of creative excellence for firms of this size.
“Winning a Summit Creative Award is a significant accomplishment in ones career. The combination of scrutinizing judges and tough judging criteria ensures that only deserving entries receive Summit recognition,” said Jocelyn Luciano, Executive Director for the Summit International Awards.
“Our goal is to provide our credit union partners with programs and tools that will help increase member loyalty, advance member retention, and ultimately grow their auto loan portfolios, while also providing members with the most sophisticated, complete vehicle research and shopping resource available today,” said Heather Dowell, marketing manager at CUDL. “Being recognized by Summit International with these awards is a true honor and reinforces our commitment to our credit unions.”
