LOS ANGELES, CA (April 2, 2025) |
Parishioners Federal Credit Union has announced a groundbreaking commitment of $1 million to the Catholic community over the next decade. This transformative investment aligns with the credit union's strategic initiatives, which focus on expanding reach, enhancing infrastructure, engaging members, maintaining financial health, and exploring growth opportunities.
The donation will support vital programs under the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, including student scholarships through the Catholic Education Foundation's tuition assistance program. These efforts aim to reduce financial barriers for families, ensuring every child has access to a quality Catholic education, regardless of their financial situation. The scholarships funded by Parishioners Federal Credit Union will specifically benefit students in the San Pedro pastoral region, fostering educational advancement and spiritual growth within the community.
"Education is the cornerstone of a thriving community, and we are honored to invest in the future of our youth. This commitment reflects our deep-rooted values and mission to empower families and uplift our community through accessible Catholic education," said Alen Torosyan, President and CEO of Parishioners Federal Credit Union.
