TruWest Credit Union remains steadfast in its commitment to community impact, supporting local families, students, and organizations through a range of philanthropic and financial initiatives. In 2024, TruWest, alongside its members and employees, contributed significant resources to strengthen financial wellness, education, homeownership, and health initiatives across Arizona and Texas.

Community Impact Highlights for 2024 include:
- The Workforce Initiative Subsidy for Homeownership (WISH) for first-time homebuyers helped families purchase their first home through grants totaling more than $3.22 million.
- A donation of $69,000 made to Phoenix Children’s through member and employee payroll deductions.
- A donation of $9,000 made to Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas through member and employee payroll deductions.
- A donation of $38,000 made to the American Lung Association.
- A $25,000 contribution to Mesa Community College for First-Year Experience students, as well as an annual food and hygiene drive.
TruWest’s commitment to community engagement extends beyond monetary donations. This year, the credit union also:
- Provided 125+ filled backpacks and school supplies to Arizona and Texas schools.
- Provided financial literacy courses to 485+ participants at multiple schools and nonprofit organizations throughout Arizona and Texas.
- Hosted 300+ participants in financial literacy simulations throughout Arizona nonprofits and schools.
- Sponsored 40+ Arizona and Texas community organizations, schools and school districts, charities, food banks and city chambers.
- Participated in 90+ community service opportunities in Arizona and Texas.
