Marshall Community Credit Union (MCCU) is proud to celebrate Youth Month this April, reinforcing its commitment to the community and fostering positive financial experiences for young members. By offering meaningful promotions and educational opportunities, MCCU continues to support the next generation, giving young members a leg up in their financial journeys.
“At MCCU, we believe in empowering our youngest members with the tools they need to succeed,” said Laura Van Dyke, MCCU Financial Education Specialist. “Financial wellness is a lifelong journey, and the earlier kids develop good habits, the more confident they’ll be in managing their own money.”
In 2024, MCCU awarded more than $8,100 in Youth Month rewards.
This year’s Youth Month will feature a range of exciting promotions designed to encourage smart financial habits that reward youth members for their efforts. "It’s essential that young people have real-life experiences with money," Van Dyke emphasized. “Our goal is to help make those experiences positive and confidence-building.”
