2025 Smart Start Scholarship supports academic goals

LAS VEGAS, NV (March 7, 2025) |

Applications for the Clark County Credit Union (CCCU) Smart Start  Scholarship Program are being accepted through April 6. The scholarship will give $1,000 to ten deserving  students pursuing higher education.

CCCU believes that education plays a critical role in shaping both individuals and communities. By easing some  of the financial burden, the credit union hopes to provide students with the opportunity to focus on their  studies, develop their professional skills, and pursue careers that make a difference.

“At CCCU, we believe that investing in education is investing in the future,” said Matt Kershaw, CEO of Clark  County Credit Union. “These students represent the next generation of leaders, innovators, and changemakers,  and we are proud to support them on their educational journey toward success.”

The application for the Smart Start Scholarship is available on CCCU’s official website, where students can  submit their academic achievements, extracurricular involvement, and a personal statement on their  educational aspirations. A panel of CCCU representatives will review applications and select the recipients based  on merit, community involvement, and dedication to their future careers.

As a local credit union, CCCU remains committed to empowering its members through financial resources,  education, and opportunities that promote long-term success.
