The Board of Directors of Securityplus Federal Credit Union is proud to announce the appointment of Mike Barr as the credit union’s new Chief Executive Officer. Mike Barr is a visionary, veteran CEO uniquely positioned to lead the credit union into the future. He starts on February 3rd.

Mike Barr brings over 15 years of credit union leadership experience to his new role as Chief Executive Officer of Securityplus Federal Credit Union. He previously served as President/CEO of Commodore Perry Federal Credit Union, where he led significant asset growth, implemented community development initiatives, and secured over $3.5 million in grants to support low-income lending. Barr’s extensive expertise in governance, strategic planning, and regulatory compliance, combined with his passion for creating opportunities for members and communities, positions him to drive Securityplus FCU’s mission forward and expand its impact.
