Enola, PA (December 12, 2024) |

Members 1st Federal Credit Union is thrilled to announce that it was  recognized as one of America’s Best Regional Banks and Credit Unions 2025 by  Newsweek and Plant-A Insights Group. In addition to a survey of more than 35,000 U.S.  consumers and millions of app store and social media reviews, this study analyzed all  aspects of each credit union and regional bank – from financial stability and profitability  to press coverage.

“Regional banks and credit unions are the financial backbone of communities  nationwide as they support small businesses, fund local projects and ensure easy  access to essential banking services. Newsweek and market-data research firm Plant-A  Insights are proud to introduce “America’s Best Regional Banks and Credit Unions  2025,” highlighting companies utilizing a community- and customer-centric approach to  make a big financial impact in their neighborhoods,” said Nancy Cooper, Global Editor  in Chief of Newsweek.

Of the approximately 9,170 financial institutions considered for this award, only 1,000 (500 credit unions and 500 regional banks) earned this designation.

“We could not be more thrilled to be named by Newsweek as one of America’s best  credit unions. Receiving this honor is a direct reflection of our credit union staying  steadfast in our mission of serving our members, businesses and communities across  our footprint,” said Michael Wilson, President & CEO at Members 1st. “Our associates  consistently go above and beyond to help individuals and businesses achieve their  financial goals.
