MSUFCU opens new branch in Novi

MSU Federal Credit Union (MSUFCU) celebrated the opening of its new branch in Novi with an event yesterday for community members and partners.

Located at 43420 Grand River Ave. in Novi, the location will allow the Credit Union to extend financial products, services, and education to a new community.

The event included remarks by April Clobes, MSUFCU President and CEO; Allison Horn, MSUFCU Vice President of Executive Communication and Legislative Affairs; Greg Deppong, MSUFCU Board of Directors Chair; Arianna Ridderbusch, MSUFCU Vice President of Community Impact; Katie Peet, Michigan State University Tollgate Farm and Education Center Director; Julie Farkas, Novi Public Library Director; Katie Chuba, Novi Chamber of Commerce President; and City of Novi Mayor Justin Fischer.

“This expansion reflects our commitment to providing superior service to our members and supporting the growth of our community,” said Clobes. “At MSUFCU, we look forward to serving even more people on their journey to financial security and achieving their dreams.”

Leading up to and following the event’s formal remarks, attendees enjoyed food, refreshments, and floral from local businesses Sweetwaters and The Flower Alley.

Additionally, $10,000 donations were made to MSU Tollgate Farm and Education Center, which provides nonformal learning for children, families, and adults, offering the unique opportunity to experience agriculture hands-on in an urban environment; and the Novi Public Library, a vital community hub for enrichment, exploration, and understanding.

“In addition to serving our current and potential members, our goal in opening this new branch is to build relationships with local community partners and organizations,” said Clobes. “We’re excited to support the work of MSU Tollgate and Novi Public Library to further the positive impact they have in the Novi community.”
