Members 1st Federal Credit Union is proud to announce that the credit union and CEO have been recognized with prestigious awards in the third quarter of 2024. They were honored by regional and national community and media partners for their dedication, innovation and excellence.
The credit union was recognized for the following:
- CrossState Credit Union Association's ".com" (Best Website) MIC Award. Members 1st's website, www.members1st.org, won the ".com" award for its cohesive design and for offering simple navigation, financial education tools and online applications. The judges were looking for user-friendly websites that provided members with comprehensive information and resources.
- Susquehanna Style’s Best of 2024. Members 1st was selected as a fan favorite in the Banking Institution and Credit Union categories in Dauphin and Cumberland counties and the Credit Union category in York and Adams counties. This recognition was voted on by Susquehanna Style readers and the local communities
- Members 1st received the designation of Harrisburg Magazine’s Simply the Best in the following seven categories:
o Credit Union
o Customer Values – Large Business
o Financial Planning Company (2+ Locations)
o Financial Consultant – Andrew Steele
o Investment Company
o Mortgage Company
o Place to Work (101+ employees)
Harrisburg Magazine’s local readers determine nominations through an online ballot system. The top eligible nominees for each category are then added to the voting ballot, and winners are selected by readers for each category.
- Central Penn Business Journal’s Fastest Growing Companies. This year Members 1st was honored as the seventh fastest growing company in Central Pennsylvania. The rankings are determined according to revenue growth over three years, with dollar and percentage increases considered.
- Michael Wilson, President and CEO, was named to Central Penn Business Journal's Power List for Banking, Finance, Accounting and Wealth Management, recognizing his continued leadership efforts for Members 1st and the credit union industry.
