If you thought you'd never see Jim Nussle in sunglasses and Converse All-Stars, strollin' out to Queen's "We Will Rock You" as his entrance music, then you were probably pretty surprised on Monday at America's Credit Unions' Governmental Affairs Conference.

Volunteering for USO tours became a passion and eventually led to the creation of the Gary Sinise Foundation. The Foundation has many functions, including R.I.S.E. (Restoring Independence Supporting Empowerment) - "building specially adapted smart homes for our most severely wounded heroes" and Snowball Express - "year-round programming and support for families that honors their fallen hero, encourages them to make new memories, and provides opportunities to connect with others who know what they’ve been through."
Every day is Memorial Day. We should always remember the fallen and the families of the fallen @GarySinise #GAC2024
